The last character, as it turned out later, previously led the famous scientific center "Black Mesa". But Wallace was only a small pawn, which was ruled by the strongest union - an alliance.

All portals on the planet, which opened after the extermination of nihilant, attracted the attention of that alliance and later the troops were sent to the Earth for the attack and the beginning of the war. The battle lasts seven hours, after which the remaining Brin troops forces to surrender and thereby deserves the position of a representative of the alliance on Earth. Almost the entire planet was captured, the residential buildings were immediately strengthened by metal, the streets were filled with patrol, a "civil defense" consisting of captured residents was created. The new government completely forbade propagation and forcibly introduced synthetic biomachines. Upon arrival to Earth, Gordon sees all this chaos and understands that the future of the local land depends only on it.
